The Council is the team's representative body, meeting regularly with the coaching staff to help develop the direction of the program.

While every player is expected to be a leader, each class choses representatives with vision and a passion for the game.

Maryland 4A West Conference
Due to the commitment it requires, football becomes a major part of every player’s four years at Wootton.  We want these years to be a positive experience both on and off the field.  We encourage our athletes to get involved in other sports and activities and to do their best academically.  Through football our athletes will benefit from the invaluable experience of team play, responsibility, dedication and friendship that will last a lifetime.
